North American Convention 2016 Anaheim July 12-15
The annual convention provides fellowship, encouragement, support and new ideas to thousands of Christians from across the country, as well as identity to Restoration Movement churches, ministries and their leaders.
The convention will feature practical workshops, powerful preaching great times of worship, hundreds of exhibits and displays of ministries from around the world. It will also feature some of the best fellowship this side of heaven.
Our Church - Lindsay Christian Church is part of a fellowship of churches that are not a formal denomination. Each is governed by local eldership within the church. The convention gives leaders and members of these churches and affiliated Christian organizations the opportunity to gather.
It is an opportunity for them to connect with one another and see how God is moving in various parts of the country. We have more megachurches per capita than any other fellowship. We are actively planting churches through out the country and there’s a real spirit of unity and desire to learn best practices from one another. The NACC is the yearly connecting point for leaders and members to be inspired, encourage and challenged.
Tim Tebow the former NFL quarterback will speak on Tuesday the opening night, and many others through the week.
The conference will feature a concert Thursday July 14 by popular Christian recording artists For King & Country.
The theme for the NACC 2016 is “A Better Story” It was chosen, because of the encounters Jesus had with different people.
When we look at the Gospel, people ( whom Jesus encountered ) might have had a good story, but God always had a better story. During the week we will look through the Gospel of John at some of those stories.
I have many special memories from tripes to the NACC, which was an annual rite of summer in our household. I went to my first NACC when I was two years old. I grew up going to the convention almost every summer with my family.
Because I grew up going to the convention almost every summer. It made me a big part of who I am as a leader because I was shaped by people I heard preach when I was a young man. Life time friendships were formed with others ministers through the NACC.
Yes the NACC has been a family reunion for me. Hope to see you in Anaheim Ca.
