Persevere
Hebrews 10:35-36 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
This encourages us believers to persevere in our Christian faith and conduct when facing pressure. Do not abandon our faith in times of persecution, but show by our endurance that our faith is real. Faith is the conviction base on past experience that God’s new and fresh surprises will surely be ours.
Let me share with you somethings that I have experience from persevering.
Because I’ve been dieting, exercising, taking a pill twice every day, drinking Premier Protein, and your prayers I’m no longer diabetic. I also thank my wife for her help is seeing I eat the right things and resisting the wrong things. I do not have any diabetic nerve damage.
As I told you before. The engine light went on in my car. I took it to the dealer to make an appointment and they told me it would cost $150.00 just to connect the computer to look at it and see what needs to be replaced. So I made the appointment, After that I prayed and said Lord I know you can do anything you want to do, could you just heal my car and turn the engine light off? And believe it or not the engine light went off so I called the dealer and said cancel the appointment. He said engine lights don't turn off by themselves. The engine light has been off for weeks, and I now get 26.8 MPG. My car is five years old and in real good shape.
Now one more reward from persevering. I just made my last car payment. For the first time in my life I will no longer have car payments. No more car payments! I am so blessed.
Faith means resting in what Christ has done for us in the past, but it also means trusting him for what he will do for us in the present and in the future.
